A Product Officer is an individual who selects what items will be stocked in a store, based on his or her predictions about what will be popular with shoppers. Product Officers usually work closely with designers and their designated sales representatives and attend trade fairs, wholesale showrooms and fashion shows to observe trends.
A Product Officer is responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to sell in retail outlets. The Product Officer must consider the following factors when making purchasing decisions:
  • Customer demand (e.g. price, quality and availability);
  • Market trends;
  • Store policy;
  • Financial budget
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Design or Clothing Techonology
  • At least 1 years of working experience in the same industry
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City.
